The project would be fund by NYU prototype grant.
Mixed Media Project Proposal:
LieToMe: Emotional parameters based Telepathy through brain-computer interface
-traits of telepathy: unnoticeable, involuntary (both side)
-reader + sender + server
-reader: Emotiv 16-Channel EEG headset (acquired already)
-sender: a Bluetooth ear-pod (acquired already)
-server: my Thinkpad X1c with Bluetooth device (acquired already)
-wearable part: free use of Makerspace 3D printer (design in progress)
-software: C++ console application would do (after I complete my min-term exam in data structure and algorithm)
-acquire emotional parameter through EEG and send them to server
-server proceeds and converts vocal information to sender
-the process satisfy the unnoticeable and involuntary rule of telepathy
Final Paper Topic:
Telepathy: a technician's perspective
-Telepathy: a historical perspective
-Telepathy: a behaviorism perspective (implicit and involuntary interaction between person)
-Case study: how to build a seem-to-be telepathy system
-EEG based: Emotion recognition, P300
-fMRI based: active area of brain
-EMG based telepathy: direction communication between muscles
-A proposal of implement on neural-signal based telepathy communication
-Composition
-Acquire and interpretation of Physiological data
-Implicit communication
-Network
-Potential social impact
-A shrieked, 2-person prototype on telepathy (Abstract of Mixed Media Essay)
-Conclusion and Discussion
