This is the Developing Journal of MindGame Project. This series is also homework journal for NYU DM-GY 6053 Section D: Constant Input Choices
This semester I am developing the MindGame prototype. For really detailed description of this project, please refer to UIST 2018 Adjunct Proceedings after October 15th. I am not supposed to release the documents but https://github.com/matonglidewazi/OpenBCI-Unity-VR this repo might help for understanding what it was.
This week, I submitted the material for NYU prototype fund and received the demo invitation from NYC Media Lab 18 Summit.
My partner and I are polishing the demo for 20 Sep. Hopefully we would raise some money after that. (NYU prototype fund and NYU conference fund at lease please!)
The real good news is I abandoned the 8-Channel OpenBCI and switched to Emotiv epoch. That is a quite old device but cost me only $140. The problems lie in driver and supportive software, I have tested the device and it looks nice. Currently I am configuring the environment for EmoKit. Some hacker crack the SDK and release it. Due to some reason Emotiv does not seem to raise a sue, never mind. The Python environment is kind of a problem in Windows 7, and I am configuring it.
Here is my schedule:
