Discussion

A voting system composed of 3 people (brain) is a common topic in sci-fi movies. In Minority Report. In the animation EVANGELION, a super-computer MAGI, contains the naked human brain as processor unit.

However, it is funny to find to find the connection of post-modern sci-fi movie and Ancient Greek society. As the concept brain as processor could be traced back to brain in a vat scenario in modern philosophy, and finally back to the Allegory of the Cave of Plato. And the prophet is also a major element in classical Greek plays and Greek methodology. The voting system is also under the shade of the plain, straightforward democracy in Athen.

It would be more interesting to see how, in its successor, psycho-pass, the voting system multiple into hundreds of brains, which extends the bare concept of voting: As we can see, the number 3 is common in voting system since it is the least number that could generate a reasonable result.
